How the sealed-bid auction works
Finnish companies register with their business ID and verify the contact email. Bidding is available immediately after verification — no approval queue.
Each listing shows photos, technical data from the vehicle register, a dated history snapshot (without previous owners' personal data), condition notes, known defects and any documents.
Enter your amount in EUR excluding VAT. A confirmation step reminds you the bid is binding. After confirming it cannot be changed or withdrawn, and nobody else can see it.
Opening and closing times are enforced by server time. A bid that arrives after closing is rejected, even if the page was opened earlier.
Bids are ranked highest first; equal bids by earliest submission. Staff can only award the car to the top bid or decline all bids and withdraw it — never choose a lower bidder.
Winners and other bidders receive an email. In your account you see your own bid and, once awarded, the winning amount — never other bidders' identities, amounts or the number of bids.
Minimum bids and reserve prices
Some vehicles have a minimum bid shown on the listing — bids below it are not accepted. The dealership may also set a hidden reserve price. If the highest bid is below the reserve, staff may decline all bids; the vehicle is then marked not sold and may be relisted.
After you win
The car appears under My purchases with the responsible salesperson's contact details. Payment and pickup are agreed directly with the dealership outside this platform. If a winner does not complete the purchase by the agreed deadline, the award may be revoked and the car offered to the next-highest bidder.
Frozen accounts
The dealership may freeze a bidder account. A frozen account can browse but not bid, and its bids on open or undecided auctions become void.
