Auction terms
1. Eligibility
Only companies registered in Finland may register and bid. Registration requires a valid Finnish business ID and a verified email address. One company may have several user logins; all share the company's bids and purchases.
2. Bids are sealed and binding
Each company may place exactly one bid per vehicle auction. A placed bid is binding and cannot be edited, raised, lowered or withdrawn. During the window a bidder sees only their own bid: no other amounts, bid counts or bidder names are disclosed.
3. Bidding window
Every auction has an opening and closing time enforced by server time. Bids are accepted only inside the window. The dealership may extend or cancel a window before it closes; affected bidders are notified by email and bids on cancelled auctions become void.
4. Minimum bid and reserve price
A listing may state a minimum bid; lower bids are rejected. A listing may also carry a hidden reserve price. Bids below the reserve may be declined.
5. Award
After closing, valid bids are ranked highest first; equal bids by earliest submission. The dealership either awards the vehicle to the highest valid bid or declines all bids and withdraws the vehicle, stating a reason. The dealership cannot select a lower bidder.
6. Prices and VAT
All bids and prices are entered and shown in euros without VAT. There is no buyer's fee.
7. Payment and handover
Payment and collection are agreed directly between the winning company and the dealership outside this platform. The platform shows a payment deadline. If the winner does not complete the purchase by the deadline, the award may be revoked and the vehicle offered to the next-highest valid bidder.
8. Listing changes
If mileage, condition or known defects are changed after bids exist, the change is logged and emailed to those bidders. Bids remain binding.
9. Account freezing
The dealership may freeze an account, stating a reason. A frozen account cannot bid and its bids on open or undecided auctions become void. Freezing and unfreezing are recorded.
10. Records
Every bid, award, revocation and staff access to bids is recorded in an audit log that cannot be edited. Sale and bid records are retained for the period required by bookkeeping law.
